About

I’m a senior student at the University of Toronto studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. While mostly focusing on my undergraduate coursework, I do spend some time reading research papers that make me aware of the general trends in the field. I also appreciate the beauty of coding and I always feel excited to implement some of these research ideas myself. Programming assignments and challenges have also been my favorite part of my university life.

Interest

I have a strong passion for artificial intelligence and especially for applied machine learning. I have worked on various areas of machine learning, including object detection, semantic segmentation, image generation, and speech synthesis. I’m always impressed by the power of these learning algorithms and how they could benefit our daily life.

Although I’m broadly interested in machine learning, I’m particularly looking forward to developing intelligent systems that behave like humans. This would involve capturing human behavior in a more structured and intuitive way, which is still quite challenging.
